"A portrait of Audrey, once a week, every week, in 2013"
This week has seen some scorchers, we enjoyed fresh fruit ice blocks and smoothies and nude berry eating in the afternoons. You watched the tv intently on one of these days as men and women danced on screen. Their bodies painted in different colours, wearing various adornments.
A beautiful girl with spools of colourful thread, all the wonderful projects they could aid.

A Mini Giveaway :: Memory Keeping With Origrami
The everyday should be remembered. Life isn't just about the milestones and big events, it is about meal times, exploring our surroundings and afternoon cuddles. It is about the relationships we share and the home we make our own.
After attending The Life:Captured workshop I quickly realised that although we celebrate our everyday by documenting it online we have little to no printed memories around our home. This inspired me to start a photo wall project that you can read about here. I was amazed at the response our new photo wall received and felt a little giveaway was in order...
One lucky winner will receive a gift voucher for 36 beautifully printed images from Origrami delivered to your door anywhere in the world.
To enter all you need to do is follow Being Mumma via bloglovin' (over there on the right) and leave a comment once you have. For additional entries follow Being Mumma on Instagram or share this giveaway on your blog, Facebook or Instagram account. Please leave a separate comment for each entry.
The winner will be chosen by random generator on Monday September 30th at 9pm est and is open to international readers.
Best of luck!
The lucky winner by random generator was #9 Max! Please contact me at elle.rampling@gmail.com to claim your prize (and excuse me for being late in announcing, I may have been enjoying a glass of red with my best girl and the time got away from me). As the sun set on another sun drenched Spring's day you and your Dadda went for a walk along the shore. I watched as you ran the sand through your hands and it made me realise how it is the little things in this life captivate you, we can learn so much from you.
Little Lila's portrait last week was breathtaking.

The past week was, in one word, heartbreaking. Many hours were spent in hospital chairs and doctors waiting rooms as we watched you writhe in pain and tears stain your cheeks. Our hearts wished for nothing but to take the suffering from you.

"A portrait of Audrey, once a week, every week, in 2013"
The afternoon of Father's Day saw us in our backyard chasing the last of the new seasons sun. You requested your 'nuggle' be tied around your neck so you could hop, skip and run hands free. I often worry about what we will do if your beloved snuggle is ever lost or damaged, it is actually a hand knitted jumper given to you before you were even born.

Memories In Print :: Origrami
After attending the Life : Captured workshop it became apparent that we did not have nearly enough of our memories printed and displayed around our home. We take photos to remember our days but how often do we look at them? Sadly, hardly ever... I decided to remedy this the day after the workshop and my first stop was Origrami. After learning they were a Sydney based husband and wife team I was extremely excited to check them out and they did not disappoint. Their site is extremely user friendly and downloads your images straight from Instagram. Your choices include square or retro print and the option of having your caption or photomap printed on the back. For $19.95 you receive 36 beautifully printed images in the cutest little box I have ever seen! Oh and all this delivered within a few weeks of placing your order. We are so happy with our new photo wall and Audrey is loving her new "camera"...
